1967 UK 1st *MISPRESS* MONO DOUBLE EP SET
This 1967 MISPRESSING is a 1967 UK 1st MONO pressing double EP set on black & silver Parlophone labels: MMT 1
The error occurs on side 1 which has a STEREO 'SMMT' label but plays - as do all sides - in MONO.
All labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax codes are visible in centre of sides 1 & 4.
Housed in a outer laminated, storybook picture cover with blue centre lyric sheet.
The set is complete with both its original white inner-sleeves.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18435-1, 4-1 & 6-1, 7-2
Stamper codes: 6/RP, 7/GAM & 4/HP, 1/LD
CONDITION
All Labels: EXCELLENT
Clean & unmarked with minor wear to each centre hole only.
Both discs visual: VERY GOOD
All playing surfaces are clean but do bear serveral surface marks and light scratches - none of which are deep or feelable. All sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Play: VERY GOOD -
Both discs have been played many times and some light background is audible throughout. However there are no jumps, repeats, heavy clicks or any other such major audible fault.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A clean & vibrant example which retains a high-gloss, undamaged & unscratched laminate front & rear. Apart from slight storagewear to the corners, there are no further signficant blemishes inside or out. All inside pages of the booklet are clean & undamaged and the 3 centre staples are attached & unrusted.
Inner-sleeves
VERY GOOD +/EXCELLENT
Some storage wrinkling to one, no wear to the other.
