1967 USA 1st MONO PRESSING LP
This early 1st U.S. MONO pressing from 1967 East Coast manufactured disc carries black/rainbow Capitol labels: MAL-2835
All tracks have the 'BMI' publisher credits and complete matrix number printed on them.
br> Housed in a thick posterboard cover with 24-page booklet attached inside.
This example has includes the 1st run of the gatefold slicks which mistakenly credits all the album's songs to 'Maclen Music, Inc., BMI.' & "No, your'e not!" under the 'I Am The Walrus' title printed in block letters.

A spectacular set with no significant wear to either.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces of this very well-looked after and seldom played copy are clean, bright & glossy with no significant surface marks or wear visible in strong daylight. Careful examination beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a sparkling rainbow gloss and a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal but no scratches, scuffs or any other visual blemishes. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing, with no traces of dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This copy has been clearly barely played and the sound throughout my careful playcheck at volume was a pleasure and free from any groove/playwear distortion on any track or indeed any clicks, pops or any other such distraction. Aside from a hint of light/normal background between tracks, there really is little to fault here.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
A vivid & vibrant example of this superbly constructed cover with unfaded & unworn front & rear panels. The only significant sign of wear to the outside is some minor bruising to the corners. the booklet has obviously at some point come loose and hads been reattached recently with clear adhesive tape. However, all pages are clean& undamaged. The spine has a small area of dried adhesive towards the bottom but is undamaged and unsplit, as are all the seams.
