Description
THE BEATLES - 'PAPERBACK WRITER'/'RAIN'
This UNPLAYED UK 45 has 1966 1st pressing black & silver Parlophone labels (R 5389), but appears to have been manufactured in 1969*
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text and have upper case 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in both run-outs only.*The disc's edges have a 'knife edge' appearance similar to late '60's EMI pressings.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18380-2 & 7XCE 18381-2
Stamper codes: 9/GPM & 9/GMA
The disc is housed within an original green & white 'Miner's Make up' Parlophone company sleeve.
