THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
This scarce STEREO pressing of their debut LP dates from October 1969 on the black & silver 1-EMI box Parlophone label: PCS 3042
Both labels have an unusual layout with wider than normal spacing between the lines of the track-listing
Matrix numbers: YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1
Stamper codes: 2/MP & 1/MR
Vinyl weight: 138g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover & original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve

A clean & unworn pair bearing only 2/3 light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine. Apart from a single 5mm scratch on side 2, both sides and a unmarked in strong daylight with just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
All tracks play cleanly & clearly with no trace of any groove/playwear or background interference. The only audible distraction which presented itself during my playcheck were a handful of soft ticks at the end of 'Love Me Do' which were due to the aforementioned mark.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & firm example which retains a clean, high-gloss front laminate bearing just two 'thumbnail' wrinkles, but little else in the way of wear. All corners are unbumped and both opening edges unworn. The exposed rear panel bears a little storagewear but is free from any writing or missing paper.
Both seam are smooth & unstressed and the spine is clean & fully worded
