Beatles Please Please Me LP Gold on Black Mono
OK let's say from the start that this record is in far from pristine condition but may nevertheless be interesting to collectors.
I can vouch for its provenance as I remember my sister's boyfriend buying it when I was about 12 some 40 years ago. Somehow I adopted it.
I'm no record expert so I'll leave you to judge what you need to judge from the photos.
The things that the pictures cannot say are that the record has a warp. It's significant and would not play on my record deck until I increased the tracking weight to three grammes. At this level it stopped jumping with the warp and played nicely.
The record sounded old and a touch crackly but it has no major scratches that repeated with each revolution of the record.
OK so it's not the best copy you've ever seen but with a starting price of 99p I'm hoping someone will find it appealing.
