Description

Welcome to my auctions....check out the other vinyl listed, more added each week and follow me so you don't miss out.

My dad was a private collector, he collected thousands and thousands of records from 1950's to early 2000's, many are rarities, obscurities and some are unique, I am not a dealer, just selling the collection now he is unable to do so himself.

You can expect great service/fast dispatch/super strong packaging/combined shipping and honest, no nonsense gradings BUT Please read descriptions.

The Beatles – Please Please Me - Yellow and Black Parlophone labels - Mono - Massively Rare UK 3rd Transitional Pressing with No 'Record First Published 1963' on either label But The 'Gold' pressing extra 33 1/3 on side 1 label but not side 2 label. Only a handful of these will have been made, so few with the extra 33 1/3 on both labels were pressed so this copy with the corrected side 2 but uncorrected side 1 label will have just been a very rare variant – Earliest Matrix Endings -1N -1N – EMITEX Inner - Gold & Black Sleeve + Original EMITEX Inner

1963

PMC 3058

XEX 421 - 1N  2  RG
XEX 422 - 1N  1 2 RR   (ZT Tax Code Around Spindle)

Side 1 has a few light scratches and a few whispy faint hairlines and a handful of extremely faint surface marks, Side 2 has a few scratches, a couple on track one that can be slightly felt, a few light hairlines and a handful of extremely faint surface marks, still has a nice shine. A Nice Used Example of this rare record.

PLAYTESTED and it plays Really Well, strong and vibrant audio, some static/light background in the quiet parts and a few clicks in places, a great listen. This record has been stored for 50 years and will benefit from a proper clean.

Both Labels have some signs of spiders legs under strong light. Clean labels, Side 2 label does have a handful of needle scratches at the top.

Original Front laminated Flipback Earliest and rarest Ernest J Day Sleeve has wear. The front of sleeve shows some light rubbing, still has some shine, there are some creases from edges and wear on bottom edge and a larger crease there. Corners are worn. Patchy wear to top edge, bottom edge has wear. Some handling wear to opening edge. The Back of sleeve has light discolouration with a grubby circle patch top right where a sticker was, bottom flipback is damaged/torn and is selotaped from opening edge until the middle, top flipback has light wear. Spine is solid and fully readable....see photos...This is a Nice Used Example of this Rare Sleeve.

EMITEX Inner has a split to one edge and small split to bottom, some discolouration and 3 brown stains but no writing, a bit of creasing.

A Mega Rare and Very hard to find LP.

I will describe any flaws such as wear to sleeves, scuffs, marks or scratches to vinyl and describe them honestly, if you expect a better condition than I have listed then you need to learn to read. I will grade based on visual inspection under artificial light. PLEASE remember this is Vinyl...even brand new vinyl can have clicks and pops...that's part of its charm...if you want perfect audio without background noise...how about CD's or MP3's?
