Description
It is with some reluctance that due to pending retirement I will over the next few months be selling my own Beatles collection gathered over a number of years. Most of the items are in Mint - condition but full descriptions will be provided in each listing. Whilst I sold many Beatles records some years ago for which much of my feedback was generated, these items represent the best conditioned items. All come with a full money back guarantee if you feel the item does not represent the description.
This listing is for an original 1963 Mono copy of the album Please Please Me by The Beatles, catalogue number PMC 1202. Matrix numbers, side 1, XEX 421-1N, side 2, XEX 422-1N. Stampers side 1 @ 9 oclock 1 1 1, @ 3 oclock Blank. Side 2, @ 9 oclock 1 A, @ 3 oclock Blank.
The vinyl shines like new on both sides. Side 1, has no scratches, no scuffs and only a couple of light bag removal lines, it shines like new and plays without fault. Side 2, has no scratches, no scuffs and only a couple of light bag removal lines, it shines like new and plays without fault. This really is in exceptional condition. Both labels are completely undamaged and remain bright and clear. The Decca ring is clearly visible and is in outstanding shape.
The Emitex inner has a few very light creases, no splits or other damage of any kind.
The outer Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in outstanding condition with only a few light creases. Corners are in great condition. The rear of the sleeve has survived remarkably well, showing only light discolouration.
This item is extremely difficult to get and particularly in this outstanding condition.
I have been very critical of this item as I will be on all others to ensure full customer satisfaction. I feel the buyer may not be so critical and will be delighted but if not you will find fully as described.
