Black & yellow Parlophone label - PMC 1202
No 'Sold in UK..' or 'Recording First Published..' texts.
With 'Parlophone Co. Ltd.' rims.
'MT' code on side 2 label.
Early 'E. J. Day' mono cover with 'Angus McBean' credit in extreme lower right position.
Complete with lined 'Use Emitex' inner-sleeve.
Matrix: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N

Visual: EXCELLENT
Bright & clean high-gloss surfaces showing a few very faint inner-sleeve removal marks under halogen light but no significant marks or any scratches.
Play: EXCELLENT
Plays cleanly & clearly on all tracks with no crackle or groovewear distortion anywhere. There is silence between in both run-ins & between all tracks and apart from few faint/soft ticks on 'Please, Please Me' but no other audible faults.
Cover
VERY GOOD -
Clean & glossy front panel with light lower & opening edge wear but no splits or tears. Rear panel is bright & white with a small name top right corner & a 1cm missing section of flipback to the upper left & minor damage to the lower. Both seams & spine are intact & undamaged.
Strict grading under halogen & strong daylight to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards

Unless stated all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks.
All sleeves have no writing, splits or tears.
