THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
This early UK STEREO pressing dates from mid-1963 and bears the 3rd variation of the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3045
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'Recording First Published..' & 'The Parlophone Co..' worded rim texts.
An 'MKT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.

Housed in a rare GOLD/1st PRESSING front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day'' printed stereo cover, with the 'Angus McBean' credit in the extreme lower right corner.
Complete with its original poly-lined 'Use Emitex..' inner-sleeve with retailer's "Stereophonic sealed unplayed copy for your protection" broken tape seal on the top edge.

A clean & unblemished set with a minimal amount of faint spindle trails but no wear to either centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces display several light surface marks/scuffs, but nothing I would call a scratch. Closer examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals some additional wispy paper hairlines but no further major marks or wear. Both sides of this early copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD +
This respectable sounding disc has received a moderate amount of play but the sound is clean and unworn throughout. My single careful play-check at volume found no significant deterioration to the sound quality detected a few soft clicks between some tracks but no significant deterioration or any major faults the the sound quality overall.
Cover: GOOD
This rare cover is a quite tired and shelfworn but still in one piece. The front panel is bright & clean with some wear to the corners and a 12cm split to the lower seam. The rear is fairly clean with a faint watermark but no writing or missing paper. There is a small piece of flipback missing in the lower right corner but there are no writing or further major faults.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD
Clean & flat with some minor storage wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
