1963 UK *BLACK & GOLD* LABEL MONO LP

1st PRESSING WITH **'DICK JAMES'** PUBL. CREDITS

This rare 1963 1st pressing mono copy is on the UK black & gold Parlophone label PMC 1202
Both labels carry the 'Dick James Mus.' publishing credits where applicable
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label
Housed in the correct, front laminated, flipback 'E.J. Day..' sleeve
Complete with original lined inner-sleeve

Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1 & XEX 422-1
Stamper numbers: 1/P & 1/L

Disc

Visual: VERY GOOD Very thick and heavy vinyl with the surfaces displaying some noticeable surface marks and light scratches but no major faults.
100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.

Audio : VERY GOOD MINUS Clearly played many times, some groovewear is audible in some loud passages.
However, it plays well with no jumps or repeats

Cover

VERY GOOD PLUS A correct early 'E.J. Day' exmaple with the 'Angus McBean' credit in the extreme lower right-hand corner
The front panel is clean and bright with moderate handling and storage wear. The rear shows some areas of discolouration but no writing.
There is damage to the lower flipback corner but all other are fine. All seams are strong and unsplit and the spine is clean and readable.
