Beatles Parlophone 4983 "Please Please Me/Ask Me Why" - Holy Grail of first pressings! - MPT 1 on both sides with stamper "G" on both sides as well!
Parlophone stamper codes are G=1, R=2, A=3, M=4, O=5, P=6, H=7, L=8, T=9, D=0 (Gramophone LTD). Therefore, first pressing (MPT over 1) at the 9 o'clock position on the record runout, and G (1) at the 3 o'clock position on the runout. See photos. Single digits - no strikeouts or poorly pressed second stamper codes - a truly verified find!
Condition is VG overall and the labels are also VG. Great condition for as rare and utterly next to impossible to find as this stamper pair of "G"s! Comes with original correct style record jacket.
Record is removed from jacket and inside of acid free clean new jacket. Original jacket stored behind acid free parting cardboard. Will be shipped in layers of cardboard inside of protective record mailer.
