THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'
1966 UK 1st PRESSING *MONO* LP
**XEX 606-1**
This very first pressing contains the 'remix 11' version of 'Tomorrow Never Knows'
This excellent 1st mono pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7009
The labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
The side 2 label has the 'Dr Robert' label spelling.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in a laminated, tri-flipback 'E.J. Day' mono cover.
Complete with its original white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 606-2 & XEX 606-1
Stamper numbers: 1/A & 2/RL

Visual: VERY GOOD PLUS
Both sides are bright and clean and retain a respectable glossy 'rainbow' shine, bearing just a single noticable, moderate scratch on side 1.
Further careful inspection under a halogen reveals some minor hairlines and sleeve removal marks but no other major faults.
Quality, thick, sharp-edged vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Audio: VERY GOOD
This copy has not been overplayed and there is no heavy groovewear distortion or major deterioration to the sound.
The abovementioned thin scratch produces a light background 'tick' on tracks 3 - 5 on side 1.
Some intermittant light background is also audible, but both run-ins and all bands play extremely quietly.
There are no jumps or repeats anywhere.
Cover: VERY GOOD PLUS
A respectable copy of this rare cover which bears just light to moderate handling & storagewear with no major faults.
The front panel is clean and bright with some light creases and a small stain to the lower left corner.
The corners displays some light shelfwear but are otherwise clean and unbumped. The opening edges bear light wear but no tears or feathering.
The rear panel is clean and black with minor handling wear but no marks, writing or missing paper.
All the flipbacks are present & undamaged and all seams and the spine are strong and unsplit.
