Labels: EXCELLENT

Visual: 1. NEAR MINT  2. EXCELLENT

Both surfaces of this great copy when viewed in daylight bear no surface marks, scratches or any other signs of mishandling.
Close and careful inspection of both sides directly under my halogen desk lamp shows side 1 to be completely 'as new' without even any paper hairlines.
I have downgraded side 2 due to some small cloudy spots which are in the vinyl and most likely a result of long-term storage. However this does not affect the sound in any way.
Both sides 100% flat on the turntable with no signs or dishing or warping.

Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS

Most copies of this title, however good-looking, are nearly always badly playworn. However, I am pleased to report that this example is the exception to that rule.
From a silent side 1 run-in, the guitar riff on 'Taxman' is clean, sharp and undistorted, immediately pointing to the fact that this copy has received only a few careful plays on high quality equipment.
Other familiar problem areas on side 1 such as 'Eleanor Rigby', 'Here There & Everywhere' and exposed introduction of 'Love You To', play perfectly without any backgroud crackle or groovewear.
Even the final chorus of 'Yellow Submarine' and the entire 'She Said, She Said', play cleanly and clearly with no evidence peakwear groovewear distortion or background crackle in either channel.
Side 2 is entirely problem-free. All tracks play 'as new' with the icing on the cake being a perfect sounding 'remix 11' version of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' with its extra effects and longer fade.
There really is little to fault on this great copy and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS

This outstanding example retains a pristine white & unyellowed front panel & an unscratched, high-gloss front laminate which bears just a single tiny 'thumbnail' crease but no other signs of wear.
All the corners are clean & square with just a touch of shelfwear to the lower two. Both opening edges appear untouched and are in perfect condition with no indentations, tears or feathering.
The rear panel is clean and black where it should be with just a faint disc edge mark behind John's head but no writing, missing paper or other signs of wear.
All flipbacks, both seams and the spine are in perfect, undamaged and unworn condition.
The original retailers sticker is present on the lower flipback. This is unlikely to be removable but adds a touch of authenticity to this fabulous copy.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Slight toning but otherwise crisp, clean, flat with no tears or splits.
