Condition
Labels: EXCELLENT
Visual: EXCELLENT -
Both surfaces are bright & glossy with no dull areas or clouding. Both sides display an occaisional light fingernail scuff line in daylight but just a rich rainbow shine and a few wispy paper hairlines directly beneath halogen light. There are no significant or major scratches anywhere.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has received some careful play and is without any significant deterioration to the sound quality. There is no evidence of groovewear distortion from the outset - the guitar riff on 'Taxman' is clean and sharp. There is also little evidence of wear on the two most fragile tracks: 'Eleanor Rigby' & 'Here, There and Everywhere'. Apart from a half second of hiss on the band between tracks 1 & 2 on side 1 and a few light ticks on the fade of 'Got To Get You Into My Life', there are no significant or major audible faults anywhere. The outstanding alternate mix of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' plays without fault.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
An extremely, bright and unyellowed example with a clean & glossy front panel which displays just a few light handling wrinnkles. There is a touch of shelfwear to the lower two corners but no major damage to any or to the opening edges. The rear panel has a light bend to the upper right corner area and a faint mark to around George's head. However there is no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks, bith seams and the spine are fully intact and undamaged.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & halogen light based upon UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I play every record I sell at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- Unless stated, all records lie 100% flat & play without distortion, jumps or sticks & all sleeves have no writing, splits or tears.
- The listing photos have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are packed tightly in strong custom made record boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
