1966 UK 1st PRESS *MONO* LP
**XEX 606-1**
This copy includes the rare 'remix 11' version of 'Tomorrow Never Know' - available only on these initial UK mono pressings.
This rare 1966 UK 1st mono pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
The side 2 label has the 'Dr Robert' spelling & the 'KT' tax/price.
Housed in the rarer front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.

Visual: Side 1 EXCELLENT Side 2 EXCELLENT PLUS
Hardly out of its cover in 40 years, both sides of this fine copy are extremely clean, bright and glossy, undulled by overplay on poor storage.
In daylight, side 1 displays 3 small & light fingernail lines but no scratches or any other wear whatsoever. Side 2 is pristine & unmarked.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines but no further marks or wear.
Audio: EXCELLENT
This copy has received just some light, careful play and is without any major deterioration to the sound quality.
There is some light background crackle during some of the quieter songs, but no groovewear distortion to the loud peaks.
The all important remix of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' plays without faults or wear.
There are no clicks, jumps, repeats or any other major faults anywhere.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
This fine example has a bright, clean & unyellowed front panel with no scratching, 'thumbnail' creases or any other significant wear.
All corners are perfectly clean, square and unbumped and both opening edges are clean & sharp with no tears or feathering.
The rear panel is clean & deep black with just a touch of toning on John's shirt, but no ringwear, writing or missing paper.
There is are a few tiny areas of wear to the spine laminate, but the wording is undamaged.
All flipbacks & both seams are in perfect condition.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Crisp & clean with just some light toning but no splits, tears or writing.
