THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'
1966 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP
This EXCELLENT example is a UK 1966 1st STEREO presssing on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 605-1 & YEX 606-1
Stamper codes: 1/AR & 2/AL
Vinyl weight: 155g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.
Complete with its 'Patents Applied for' plain white inner-sleeve.

Both are clean & bright with the a moderate number of well-aimed spindle marks to the side 2 centre hole and a small area of damage due to careless sticker removal on label 1.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Immaculate clean & deep-gloss playing surface which apart from a single faint surface mark on side 1 are essentially unmarked in strong daylight. Even close and careful examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp can find nothing more than a few barely visible inner-sleeve removal marks but no other blemishes or wear whatsoever. Both sides 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This copy has received just some very careful play on high-end equipment and is without any trace of groove/play-wear whatsoever on any track or in either channel. My careful play-check at volume also found the entire album to be free from any background noise. Even the delicate 'Love You Too' and 'Here There & Everywhere' play entirely without interference. Needless to say that there are no clicks, pops, ticks or any other audible distraction on this wonderful sounding copy.

A respectable example with some general handing, storage & age-wear consistent with its 44 years, but no major faults.

Clean & flat but with some age toning to the paper and a few light storage creases but no writing, tears or seams splits.
