1964 UK 2nd **MONO** PRESSING LP

**NEAR MINT**

This near mint 1966 second mono pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The Side 2 label has the 'Doctor Robert' spelling.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the centre of the side 1 label.

Housed in a front laminated, 'flipback' Garrod & Lofthouse cover.
Complete with its original 'Patents Applied For' white inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-3
Stamper numbers: 5/GLR & 1/GHG

A superb copy with flawless, unmarked and 'as new' surfaces bearing just some wispy sleeve removal hairlines under an intense direct light.
Solid and 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.

Audio: NEAR MINT

Wonderful sound quality with no groovewear distortion, crackle or any other audible faults on any track.
The run-ins and bands play completely silently with no hiss, clicks, pops, jumps, repeats.
Hard to find a better sounding copy.


Cover: EXCELLENT

A great example with a bright and gloss, unscratched front laminate bearing just a few light creases but no 'thumbnails'.
The corners and the opening edge are in great shape - clean, sharp and unworn.
The rear panel is deep black with no fading, rubbing, ringwear, marks or writing.
All flipbacks, seams and the spine are in perfect condition.
