Here is the highly sought after uncorrected first MONO press -1/-1 "LOUD CUT", which was very swiftly discontinued and replaced within days with the second normal MONO press -4/-4 !! The matrix"-1 (one)" cuttings of the mono UK "Rubber Soul" are reported to be different from subsequent versions (so-called "Loud Cut"), in that after they were issued, the EMI cutting engineers were requested to cut down on the bass, since early buyers complained of skipping needles due to mistracking.

Variation B. At some point early in the printing of the "Rubber Soul" 1st press XEX 579-1 / XEX 580-1, a Times New Roman (TNR) font was added to the label printing presses, which is very rare compared to the Sans-Serif type (Variation A.) labels. It is with this TNR style that we also find the later single-sided "Loud Cut" presses (as defined by the embossing machines), almost all the transitional printing presses of the XEX 579-1 / XEX 580-4 or XEX 579-4 / XEX 580-1.

Vinyl weight: 142 g Heavy weight thick vinyl from 60's;

VINYL: Audio tested on both sides! Visual and Audio (EX). Mono 'Loud Cut' Lovely Audio. Visually graded EX. No visible marks, that would cause problems. The record has retained its lovely clean shine and the vinyl lies flat on the turntable. A few minimal cosmetic hairlines and a small fine mark visible in bright light. Plays great with no major issues, no loud pops, no noise, just a few a little louder clicks and light pops in quieter spots between songs, but let's not forget that this is used vinyl, not mint, that is over 55 years old and that is normal. I have listened to both sides of this album and there is no skipping, sticking or distortion.

LABELS: (EX) Yellow Parlophone Type-6-1; Very Rare Times New Roman (TNR) labels print. Excellent condition, no writings, no stickersq no glue traces;

COVER:  (EX-) Rare Ernest J Day & Co. printer credit. Excellent high gloss flipback cover! There are minimal signs of aging, but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance. The most noticeable wear on the front is a few small creases in the laminate, scattered around the edges. No outer ring formation. The back is in perfect condition, no writing, no wear on the flipback laminated cover. The colors are clear and bright, The Spine is intact and fully legible, in excellent condition.
