Beatles Rubber Soul Orig.Black/Yellow Parlophone Mono Dash-1 Loud Cut EJ Day Sleeve.
This is an original 1965 issue of the Beatles 6th Album in Mono with Gramophone rims with sold in uk on the labels.
This is the quire rare and desirable dash-1 loud cut variant.
I have just replayed the record and can report that it plays with no skips of repeats but with a little static crackle that a good professional clean should improve.
The surfaces are quite shiny with little no feelable marks.
The labels are nice and clean with no writing etc. The typeface is the rarer Roman font on side 1 and sans serif on side 2 so another variation.
Matrix are xex 579-1 and 580-1
Stampers are HP5 and MM5.
The sleeve is really nice with a few laminate creases, the 3 flaps are fully intact. The sleeve is manufactured by EJ Day, another rarer variant.
