1965 UK *CROSSOVER MONO* PRESSING LP
**NEAR MINT**
This rare NEAR MINT 1965 UK 'crossover' mono pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1267
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in its correct front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono logo cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 579-4 & XEX 580-1
Stamper numbers: 5/GAR & C 3,6/LR

Pristine, totally unmarked surfaces which appear in MINT condition when viewed in strong daylight. Just 'as new'.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines but no other wear.
Pressed on very thick vinyl which lies 100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This oustanding sounding disc has been barely played, perhaps just two or three time on top quality equipment.
All songs, (including the normally worn 'Michelle'), play cleanly & clearly with no trace of background noise or groovewear distortion.
Both run-ins and all bands play silently & there are no clicks, jumps or any other audible faults.
Very hard to upgrade this one.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
A very strong and clean example with a vibrant front panel which bears just 3 small 'thumbnails' and a light crease to the lower right corner.
There is slight bruising to the right corners but no wear to the others. Both opening edges are superb clean, sharp & unworn condition.
The rear panel is pristine white & clean with no handling/storagewear, discolouration, writing or missing paper.
The flipbacks, seams and spine are all in clean, undamaged condition.

This disc has been carefully audibly graded in its entirety on a Rega P9 deck fitted with a Shelter 901 cartridge.
