 THE BEATLES - 'RUBBER SOUL'


This UK STEREO pressing dates from late 1965 on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3075

Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text with a 'KT' purchase tax code on the side 1 label.

A genuine EMI 'Factory Sample - Not for Sale' sticker is adhered to the side 1 label.


  Matrices: YEX 178-3 & YEX 179-3

Stamper codes: 2/H & 2/PM

Vinyl weight: 153g


Housed in the a front laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed tri-flipback stereo cover.

Complete with original plain white 'Use Emitex...' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.


CONDITION

Disc: EXCELLENT +

This 1st-class disc has received little play and sounds clean, warm & clear throughout. Both playing surfaces are glossy & unworn showing just a faint trace on inner-sleeve storage beneath halogen light. All tracks play without any groove/playwear or crackle and our play-check detected just two soft 'pops' in the band before 'The Word' and a single 'tick' on 'Girl'. A really enjoyable listen all-round.  

Cover: EXCELLENT -

A strong, fully intact example with minor storagwear only. The front panel is clean & glossy and without any 'thumbnail' wrinkles or spine bends. There is slight wear to the corner tips but none to either opening edge. The exposed rear panel is clean & white overall with just some discolouration towards the opening edge. There is a 2cm stress to the upper seam but the spine is unworn & fully worded.
