1968 UK *STEREO* PRESSING LP

**NEAR MINT**

This NEAR MINT 1968 UK stereo pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3075
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

Matrix numbers: YEX 178-3 & YEX 179-3
Stamper numbers: 2/GH & 2/GA
Disc weight: 165g

So rare to find that both surfaces of this barely played copy are in perfect condition both in daylight AND directly under my halogen desk lamp.
Close & careful inspection reveals absolutley no surface marks, scratches or even any wispy paper hairlines visible anywhere.
An unusually heavy pressing which lies 100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
You will not find a better looking copy.

Audio: NEAR MINT

This copy has received just one or two extremely careful plays by its original audiophile owner with a Shure M75E cartridge on an SME arm.
The sound throughout is 'as new' with no traces of groovewear, background noise or indeed any audible faults whatsoever - even the eaily damaged 'Michelle' plays perfectly.
Both run-ins and all bands play silently and there are no clicks, pops or any other signs of wear.


Cover: EXCELLENT

A rich and clean front panel retaining its high-gloss laminate which shows just a hint of storagewear but no 'thumbnails' or any further significant wear.
The lower corners display just a touch of shelfwear but are otherwise square and unbumped. Both opening edges are clean with no tears or feathering to either side.
The rear panel is bright & white with just a few tiny storage marks but no discolouration, writing or missing paper.
Apart from a touch of light wear to the lower flipback, all are clean & intact as are both the seams & the spine.

Inner: NEAR MINT

Crisp & flat with no splits or tears.
