1969 UK 3rd MONO PRESSING
**RARE FINAL 60's MONO ISSUE**
This rare 3rd MONO pressing dating from 1969 is on the UK yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1267
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims.
There is no tax/price code visible on either label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 579-5 & XEX 580-5
Stamper numbers: 1/RL & 3/HA

Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely bright & glossy surfaces bearing just a few very light marks on side 1 and a single stylus hairline on side 2 in strong daylight.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just some wispy inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines but no other marks or wear.
100% flat on both sides without any dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
Rarely & carefully played, the sound is clear & clean with no background noise or any significant lessening to the sound quality.
Apart from a touch wear on 'Michelle' & an occaisional light tick between some tracks, there is little to fault.
There are no heavy clicks, jumps or any other major signs of wear.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
Super clean & strong example which retains its high-gloss front laminate which bears just a few small & light wrinkles, but no heavy creasing or wear.
All four corners are in perfect condition with no rubbing or bumps, and both opening edges are clean, sharp & unworn.
The rear panel is pristine white with just a tiny spot towards the lower right corner, but no writing or missing paper.
The spine, seams & flipbacks are all in perfect, undamaged condition.
This disc has been carefully audibly graded in its entirety on a Rega P9 deck fitted with a Shelter 901 cartridge.
