1965 UK 1st PRESS ('LOUD CUT') *MONO* LP

This fine 1965 first mono pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label PMC 1267
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
The 'KT' tax/price code visible on the side two label.
'Roman' & 'Sans Serif' font labels
Housed in a front laminated, flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover
Complete with original white 'Use Emitex' inner-sleeve

Matrix numbers: XEX 579-1 & XEX 580-1
Stamper numbers: 3/MT & C,3,6/HH

Visual: EXCELLENT MINUS

Bright and clean surfaces with just some light non-audible marks and wispy sleeve removal hairlines under intense direct light.
There is just one visible surface mark on side two, but this is non-feelable and non-audible.
100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.

Audio: EXCELLENT MINUS

Warm, bright and powerful sound with no crackle, distortion, clicks, pops, jumps or repeats.
There is a slight background noise on 'Michelle' but no other audible faults.


Cover: EXCELLENT MINUS

Clean and strong cover displaying minor signs of storage and handling wear.
The front panel is clean and bright with a few light creases and slight opening edge and corner wear.
The rear panel is clean and white with all flipbacks intact and undamaged.
The spine is clean, square and readable and all seams are strong and unsplit.
