Description

The item below is just one of several vintage sealed LPs which I have up for auction this week! Be sure to check them all out!

All are quite scarce and out-of-print!

No counterfeits or bootlegs!

The Beatles on Capitol STBO-2222 (stereo), "The Beatles' Story."

  • Investment grade Beatles LP, still sealed 1960s USA Capitol or Apple pressing. Because I personally know the gentleman who owned this LP, I can absolutely guarantee it to be from the 1960s, however I cannot guarantee the exact year. My guess is somewhere from 1965 through '69.

  • Gatefold jacket constructed of thick brown pasteboard stock with applied cover slick. Jacket is MINT condition, no splits, ring wear, writing, or other trauma, and the factory shrinkwrap is still sealed! No ring wear!

  • The shrink wrapper is so tight I can see only the white edges of the inner sleeves inside. There are two breathe holes in the wrapper on the front cover.

  • This jacket is not a cut out, so no cut corners, no drill holes, and no saw cuts. No bar codes or zip codes, either.

  • The discs in this classic LP are both presumed to be in perfect condition!

Investing big bucks simply to experience the act of bringing home a new 1960s Beatles LP, removing the shrink wrap, and playing it on a high end turntable is the prerogative of the audiophile for whom money is no object. However, it is key that you understand that the collectability of this album is due to it being unopened. Opening it will not only unnecessarily reduce the number of sealed copies forever, it will destroy the value of the LP. It is like removing the top layer of paint from a Picasso simply to ascertain the condition of the earliest layers. Because I cannot see the condition of the records inside this sealed LP I simply cannot guarantee them to be in perfect playing condition. I guarantee only the condition of the jacket and shrink wrapper, and sealed records are not returnable for any reason if they have been opened by the purchaser.

I have been selling records professionally by mail for years. It goes without mentioning that I know how to pack your valuable records for safe and speedy shipment, double-boxing when warranted and using industry-preferred boxes and mailers with sufficient cushioning material. Please do not neglect to check out the rest of my rare records!

INTERNATIONAL: add $4 per each additional LP. Double record sets count as two LPs, triple record sets count as three, etc. I do not offer international first class shipping rate. Priority or Express rate only. Slightly more expensive for this service, but I add insurance and tracking at no additional cost to you! Finally, I will not honor any request that I misrepresent parcel value or other information on the customs form.
