Very rare Beatles Second Album (Odeon ZTOX 5558) 1964 1st pressing EXPORT release from Germany.

Though featuring a very similar cover to the US Beatles release of "Something New" on Capitol Records, the German export pressing of The Beatles Second Album from Germany bears little in common with either the US pressing of "The Beatles Second Album" or "Something New". It features an entirely different track lineup from the US release (please see the track listing below). It is considered to be one of the most desirable of all German export Beatles records.

It is guaranteed authentic. It is not a repressing or counterfeit.

We have graded this LP using the Goldmine standard.

Grading:
Jacket: (VG) Front laminated sleeve is nice with some moderate wear. The jacket has NO writing on it anywhere. The front is very clean with vibrant colors and just some light age wear. The rear of the sleeve is nice with some light aging and tanning. The spine is in nice condition with no splitting. The spine printing is completely clear and legible. There are NO split seams anywhere on the jacket. The top seam is excellent. The bottom seam shows some slight wear. This is one of the nicer jackets of this very rare LP.
Disc labels: (VG++/VG++) Both labels are nice. Shows light to moderate spindle use. NO writing anywhere.
Disc [visual]: (VG+ to VG++ on both sides) Heavyweight disc is ultra glossy on both sides and shows only light signs of use. The disc lies flat (it is NOT warped)
Disc [audio]: (VG+to VG++ on both sides) Audio is very nice on both sides. NO skips, NO jumps, NO loud pops, NO loud distortion.
Inner sleeve: The original inner sleeve showing LP's by other artists is in excellent condition with NO writing.

Grading: We are conservative graders and try to be as concise and as accurate as possible without a lot of the standard hype.  We will never explain the condition of an item by saying it "looks good for something this old" as we consider that patronizing and an insult to potential buyers. Records that are not sealed in their original shrink-wrap will never be shipped in their original jackets. All vinyl will be in poly-lined sleeves and outside of their original jackets so that no seam splitting can result from the shipping process.

Shipping charges for vinyl discs, posters and memorabilia include the cost of postage and boxes with extra padding. Good packaging is not cost effective but we insist upon safe and secure packaging. We do not want you to receive damaged items!
