This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an imapact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

 Lovely shine and as flat as the day it was bought. There are some light visible marks to the vinyl.
After just finished listening to both sides I found there to be a very little background noise evident during the playing of the tracks-just noticeable occasionally inbetween tracks, rather than during them.
It has the PERPETUAL ENDING.
The singular point of notice-other than the superbly rich and clear audio output, is a tiny, tiny, micro skip around 1minute in on track 1, side 2...Nothing bad at all.
The bass is lovely rich and deep.
A pure joy to listen to-TURN HER UP...Especially at the start of Sgt Peppers on side 2!!
NON-BANDED.

Still vibrant in colour, just marked down because of the 7cm split to the bottom.

DEEP GREEN colour. Nothing else needs to be said!!!

**IT IS THE INCREASINGLY RARE WIDESPINE VERSION....8MM IN WIDTH**
Strong spine, sliughtly crushed but remains perfectly legible.
The front cover is still lovely and bright, as is the back cover and the inner picture. There is some slight rubbing to the corners.
There are around 7 small half crescents of spidering to the front, with none to the back-really only visible when angled towards the light. Little fingers of spidering from the seams. I am being critical as well as honest as possible, so bid with confidence.
Still opens with the slight crackle as if just bought in 1967!
The inner seem for the spine is a little crushed about half way down-please see the detailed photo's.
