This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an imapact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

 Has a lovely dull sheen. Only a couple of very light marks and light scuffs to the vinyl.

Just finished listening to the whole album and found a wonderful clear sound reproduction.
!!!TURN THIS BABY UP LOUD!!! (I did)
Only light and occasional background noise in the quiet sections, which dissappeared as soon as they arrived...A couple of light pops at the start of side 2...but nothing offensive.
The audio reproduction is wonderfully rich....The bass line on Sgt Pepper Reprise is exquisite...!
FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN CERTAINLY NO JUMPS/SKIPS OR SRTICKS. Sounds great-turn her up!

 It is the ORIGINAL 'Fools Inner' with the flames.
There are splits to each side, with one side coming away from the other completely-but it does remain together as a whole.

The Cover:

The front cover is still in great condition, as is the back cover and the vibrant inner picture.
Still opens with a crackle as if opened for the 1st time back in 1967...Showing a simply glorious full colour picture of The Beatles in all their splendour!...As you can see in the image-the spine is so strong that when I opening it to take photo's of the picture inside, the cover did not lay flat...The strong spine held the gatefold open-Now that is QUALITY! Legible spine-which carries some light rubbing..Nothing bad at all.
There are around 5 small crescentsof spidering to the front and back of the cover, with some small fingers emanating from the spine & edges...that's is all!
 I am being incredibly critical as well as honest as possible.
