Appears UNPLAYED. NO surface marks AT ALL on both vinyl surfaces ! Audio MINT with CRYSTAL grooves! Yellow/black Parlophone labels MINT- with hardly any spindle trace visible! MINT cut out insert with a fresh, factory new feel! Near MINT red/white FOOL’s inner sleeve! Glossy fully laminated PATENTS PENDING gatefold sleeve-IMPOSSIBLE to locate in near MINT- condition ! Stunning presentation of one of the best album releases ever produced.

1967 Yellow/black Parlophone label format. Gramophone credits on outer rim, Sold in UK text./KT embossed on one side only. Mint condition- 2 spider lines ONLY observed against one label, other label NO spindle trace visible
Album sleeve
ONE of the SCARCEST album covers with the very rare “Patents Pending” credits on rear sleeve. ONLY a very small number issued like this. Excellent++/nr mint - condition with no rips or tears .
Glorious glossy sheen with laminate ultra smooth and gives a phenomenal appearance to this scarce gatefold sleeve. Coloration is vivid and strong with a golden hue far deeper and richer than I have ever viewed, as this sleeve has been stored away from direct sunlight for over 40 years!! It has been kept inside a record box and not exposed to the elements . An absolute archive example of this ultimate collectors’ item .
Couple of minor laminate creases but NO peeling or lifting of any kind . Front cover has one dinged corner only on its very point. Nothing else to fault!
Near perfect inner faces. Spine ULTRA smooth to the finger touch with no rough splits and title still clearly visible . Most albums suffer most of the damage here but this gatefold is in superb condition. Impossible to locate now and so difficult to find in this fantastic condition .
The rare Patents pending text is located lower right on reverse face and only a very few were issued in this way, hence its massive rarity. Hardly ever found and if you compare the two centrefolds, Paul’s head is far nearer to the top edge of centrefold than on the more common gatefold sleeves. Please see pics for illustration . The pic on left is the patents pending inner faces and the one on the right is the more common gatefold centrefold with Pauls head located lower down !! A fantastic example of this impossible to locate gatefold sleeve.
Inner fools sleeve
NEAR MINT !! NO tears. NO rips ! Looks hardly handled. What a supreme rarity. Most are found damaged with seam splits and heavy discoloration. This one looks like it has NEVER been used! Edges are crisp. Corners are sharp and pointed.Light creasing only. Patents Applied For text indicates a very early first issue sleeve!

MINT with a factory fresh feel/appearance . Perfect.
Vinyl MINT hardly played !!
Beautiful sheen to both sides and visual grade is MINT. Not much of a playing history, perhaps twice ,indicated by two solitary spider lines on one label. Surfaces are pristine and in unbelievable condition. No sleeve marks. No surface marks under ordinary light and even under a strong halogen, will find difficult to observe any hint of play!
Audio
The stereo perspective is superb with an extensive colourful imagery, a phenomenal aural experience. Tones are sharp and clearly defined. NO surface noise, no hissing, no faults that I can detect. I have never heard a better audio from this magnificent album release.
A fantastic presentation of this phenomenal Beatles production . One of the most famous albums ever produced and with one of the scarcest album covers, a near mint fools inner sleeve and a faultless audio, this record must not be missed.
