Description
This item is an early factory sealed album by The Beatles entitled ‘Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band’. Record label and number is Capitol SMAS 2653. This early pressing has the ‘MACLEN MUSIC INC‘ credit on the back of the cover at the lower right corner and also has the ‘1967 NEMS - NEMS ENTERPRISES LIMITED‘ printed vertically in microprint along the lower right side on the back of the cover (see photos). Shrink wrap has two breathe holes on the front of the cover (above the E in Beatles and at the area of the small doll in front of the TV set - see photos). Shrink wrap has a breathe hole on the back of the cover near the lower right corner (see photos). Shrink is torn / missing on the front of the cover at the upper left corner measuring 4 inches down by 2 inches across, a small area at the bottom left corner, a small area at the bottom right corner and a tear in the shrink wrap 3 1/2 inches by 1 inch at the bottom on the back of the cover. I believe this is a very late 1960’s to very early 1970’s pressing. Gatefold cover is made of cardboard (not posterboard) and there is no barcode on the back of the cover. See photos for song listings. This classic Beatles album is very hard to find still factory sealed and unplayed and is a great addition to your Beatles collection!
