This beautiful & 100% complete UK 1st MONO pressing from 1967 is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7027

Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.

The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the side 1 centre hole.

Housed in a correct fully laminated, inner-flipback mono gatefold cover with a regular width spine.

Complete with its red & white designer inner-sleeve & MINT/unused cut-out sheet.

A perfect pair with no spindle marks or wear around either centre hole.

Visual: 1. EXCELLENT  2. NEAR MINT

The playing surfaces are immaculate and I would have graded both NEAR MINT if it were not for a moderate 1.5cm surface scuff (not scratch) in side 1, which can be felt beneath the fingertips but does not penetrate the grooves and does not sound when played. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals just a small number of barely visible wispy paper-type hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine but absolutely no other marks or wear whatsoever to either side - both of which lie 100% flat when playing.

Play: EXCELLENT +

This copy has clearly received very little play indeed. M single careful play-check at volume found no evidence of any groove/play wear on any track. The only distractions were a touch of light background on the opening crowd ambience and a hinte on 'She's Leaving Home' - which is normal surface noise from the vinyl rather than groove-wear. The aforementioned mark passed by unnoticed and side 2 plays faultlessly.

EXCELLENT +

An extremely vibrant & well-preserved example of this iconic cover which retains a perfectly clean, undamaged & unscratched high-gloss front panel laminate with no 'thumbnails' or any other significant signs of wear. All of the corners are in great shape and free from any bumps or bruising. All opening edges are clean & sharp with just a few tiny 'pushes to the edge of the rear pocket. The inside of the gatefold is vivid & unfaded with no wear or missing paper to flipbacks edge and has but has clearly rarely, if ever been fully opened out (I didn't attempt it either). The rear panel is as vivid & vibrant as the front with just a faint disc impression from storage but again no 'thumbnail' wrinkle or any other wear. All seams of both pockets are unstressed & unsplit and the spine, although a little squashed, is fully laminated & worded.

A bright & crisp example with nothing more a faint mark where from the edge of the disc but certainly no writing, seam splits or tears anywhere.
