Labels: EXCELLENT +
A 1st-class set with just a handful of light spindle trails around each undamaged centre hole.
Visual: MINT
Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces are totally unmarked when viewed strong daylight. Even close inspection directly beneath my powerful and unforgiving halogen desk lamp which reveals nothing more than a sparkling 'as new' rainbow shine. Both sides of this extremely well looked-after copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This wonderful sounding copy has received just a handful of careful plays on high-end equipment and as a result the sound quality is clean, warm & wonderful throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear on any track or either channel. My single careful play-check at volume detected no just a touch of low-level vinyl background on the side 1 run-in and during a few of the album's quieter passages such as the final piano chord fade-out on 'A Day In the Life', but no clicks, pops or any other such audible distractions.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A fine early example of this iconic cover which has been carefully stored and barely touched during the past 45 years.
The front panel is immaculately clean and retains a vibrant unfaded and unscratched high-gloss laminate with no 'thumbnail' wrinkles or storagewear rubbing. There is a slight bruising to the upper left & lower right corners from the rear, but no significant wear to any opening edge. The inside of the gatefold is immaculate with no trace of wear to any part.
The rear panel is as clean & glossy as the front, with again no 'thumbnails' & just a single wrinkle on the spine. Both pockets are smooth & unstressed with no missing or flaking laminate.
The spine is clean & fully laminated unworn with slight toning but no damage or wear to the text.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with just an unavoidable light disc impression from storage but no writing, tears or seam splits.
Cut-out sheet: MINT
