Labels: EXCELLENT
A bright and unworn pair with a small collection of light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are perfectly clean and free from any groove-whitening from over/careless play on a poor quality system. At first glance both sides are totally unmarked and would have graded an easy EX+ visually if it were not for a 2mm scratch on side 2. Closer inspection directly my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveal nothing more than a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This great sounding copy has received just a few careful plays on a high-quality system and retains all the warmth, clarity and power of the superior mono mix. My single careful play-check at volume found no evidence of any groove/play - even on the delicate 'She's Leaving Home'. It would have graded an easy EX+ if it were not for some intermittent clicks lasting approximately 20 seconds on 'When I'm 64' due to the aforementioned scratch. Despite that minor blemish, this is an exceptional sounding copy which will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A strong and fully intact example with a vibrant and unfaded front panel, still retains a healthy deep-gloss shine to its laminate which bears just two small 'thumbnails' but little else in the way of wear. All corners are in strong and undamaged condition and there is no damage to any of the opening edges. The rear panel bears just a single 'thumbnail' and a faint ring from storage but is otherwise as clean & richly coloured as the front.
The inside of the gatefold is immaculate with no missing paper on the flip-overs or any other traces of wear or age.
The spine is fully laminated & worded with no damage or wear along its entire length. Finally, all seams of both pockets are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Crisp & flat with some light age-toning to the edges of the white areas but no heavy creasing, writing or seam splits.
Cut-out sheet: MINT
