This outstanding UK 2nd mono pressing dates from 1968 on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7027
The side 2 label OMITS 'A Day In the Life' from its tracklisting.
Matrix numbers: XEX 637-1 & XEX 638-1
Stamper codes: 6/MMO & 7/MAT
Vinyl weight: 156g
Housed in a fully laminated, inner-flipover 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono gatefold cover.
Complete with unused cut-out sheet & black & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

A beautiful set bearing just 2/3 faint, well-aimed spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole only.
Visual/Audio: NEAR MINT
Factory-fresh, deep-gloss playing surfaces bearing only some harmless wispy paper hairlines beneath halogen light.
Played once or twice on quality equipment only, the wonderful mono mix plays flawlessly without fault or distraction.
Cover: NEAR MINT
A museum-quality example of this iconic cover which retains a totally unscratched & unworn high-gloss laminate throughout.
Aside from a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle on the front & rear panels, there is little to fault on this exceptional cover.
There are minute shelfwear bruises to the lower corners but the upper two and all opening edges are perfect.
Inside is clean & glossy with just a little missing paper at the edge of the left panel's flipover.
All seams are smooth & intact and the spine is fully laminated and worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean with a few light storage wrinkles & a catalogue number written in one corner.
