1968/9 UK *MONO* PRESSING LP
On the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 7027
Both carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and have 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims
There is no tax/price code is visible in the centre of either label.
Housed in a fully laminated, inner-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed 'Patents Pending' mono gatefold cover.
Complete with plain white 'Patents Nos. 1125555' inner-sleeve & MINT cut-out sheet.

Both surfaces are immaculate and are totally unmarked upon inspection in strong daylight. Close examination directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals a sparkling rainbow gloss but no signs of wear whatsoever on side 1 & nothing more tha and a few barely visible paper hairlines on side 2 - but it really is a struggle to see them. Be assured that there are absolutely no surface marks or any scratches anywhere on this pristine disc which lies 100% flat on the turntable with no signs or dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
This perfect souding copy has recieved just a few careful plays on top quality equipment. The sound throughout is 'as new' with no traces of any groove/play-wear or background noise. In fact, after a careful playcheck at volume, I can confirm that there are absolutely no audible faults or wear on the entire LP. Even the easily damaged 'She's Leaving Home' plays perfectly and the final piano chord fades without interference. If you are looking for an mono copy for reference, you will not be disappointed with this outstanding copy.

EXCELLENT +
This fine example retains an undamaged high-gloss laminate with just a single small 'thumbnail' crease to the front panels but no other wear or damage. The corners are all clean & square with no significant bumps or bruising to any and all opening edges are clean & sharp with no tears or feathering. The rear panel has an inevitable slight disc impression but no 'thumbnail' creases or any other wear. The inside of the gatefold is 'as new' with no marks or missing paper to either flipback. All seams are unstressed, unsplit and smooth and despite minor laminate wear, the spine is fully worded and intact.
