The Beatles - Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
(Parlophone PCS 7027 UK LP 1967)
This is a rare 1969 Stereo LP pressing. It has a fully laminated gatefold sleeve which has inner flipbacks (Garrod & Lofthouse). It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. This is in VG+ condition. It also comes with the card "cut-out" insert.
The record has black & yellow "Parlophone" labels. They have "The Gramophone Co..." text but NOT the "Sold in UK..." text. The matrix numbers are: YEX 637-1 and YEX 638-1. The mother stampers are GPD 2 and GPA 4.
A rare UK 1969 pressing with black & yellow "Parlophone" labels but no "Sold in UK..." text. The label design changed in 1969 to a boxed "black & silver" design. Consequently these are probably the rarest "black & yellow" Parlophone UK label variant. So don't miss out!
Gatefold Sleeve: There are two small (1 cm)tears at the rear sleeve opening. There is some mild rubbing wear at the corner tips & sleeve opening. VG condition.
Vinyl: Side 2 shows mild to moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are two small hairline marks. It is in VG- condition. Side 1 shows light to mild sleeve rubs. It is in VG+ condition. Overall the LP grades. VG condition. There is some mild foxing on Side 2's label. Otherwise the labels are clean & show mild spindle wear only. Plays VG+ overall & Near Excellent in many paces. There is some light crackle in some quieter places.
The card cut-out insert is in EX condition.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.50 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
