Welcome to our auction of a Sgt. Pepper's STEREO U.K. First Press. The KT Tax Stamp sits on Side A. It's an early copy as indicated by dead wax stampers T2/A1.
A complete copy with "psychodellic" inner sleeve. The green cut-out comes in an excellent quality and certainly has PRINTED IN ENGLAND on the lower left corner.
With pressing and release dates mentioned on the upper right, we do away with a strange "myth", namely the (whyever) wide-spread opinion of "1st of June" as being "THE Sgt. Pepper Date". Even decades later, many collectors around the world still "celebrated" that "magical" (still misleading) day. One may guess this is because it was once supposed to become the official release date. However, after British state television BBC had broadcasted the Fab's "Making-Of tapes" on May 12, 1967, already, they decided to hit the market earlier...

Audible checks are performed with a Pro-Ject Audio system connected to a DENON PMA 520-AE amplifier, with a Sennheiser 350 headset. Remarks As for the Cover and related issues, please refer to pictures provided right after, which are legal part of this auction.
Spine is in a perfectly readable shape.
Fully laminated cover, completely glossy, made of strong cardboard. Back side has signs of tape on bottom.
Absolutely clean insertion slot, no cuts, nothing. NO ring wear.
Clean labels with intact spindle holes, no writings or spots, near mint minus.
Vinyl is shiny. Many hairlines, which -however- do not affect sound quality in any respect
Inner Sleeve has bright colors, but cuts on top as well as short seam splits on left side and bottom, which is why we graded VG only.
Clean starts on both sides.
Record plays thru, no jumps, or skips.
All in all strong sound in an at least excellent quality.

1st Class Packaging
We are Collectors, hence every record is stored (and will be sent) in a sophisticated way. Many experienced collectors were thrilled by our unique, bullet-proof "packing technicque". Original cover, inner sleeve(s), prospective inserts, and/or whatever may come across, are stored separately. The vinyl sits in a neutral antistatic, padded inner sleeve, which is housed in a stable, neutral cardboard cover. Package is protected by one (or more) transparent plastic sleeves. Finally, all items are being wrapped with thick bubble foil and go to a professional record mailer, which is then being properly sealed with water-resistant tape.

- Grading Every record has been carefully graded visually by ourselves. Most records are audio-graded, too. We grade NM/NM-, EX+/EX/EX-, and VG+/VG/VG-.
- Shipping & Handling is FREE, provided you live on planet earth. To us, it doesn't matter where records finds a new home, Paris, Tokyo, NYC, or Melbourne.
- Payment is expected within 48 hours after an auction's end, unless arranged differently prior to bidding. PayPal or IBAN (SEPA) bank transfer only.
A Note On Returns / Return Policy
We are two (crazy?) regular average women (Ginger & Fleur Isabell) who love Beatles, thus collecting their records, we're no dealers. We buy vinyl to acquire better copies of what we have already, then selling our second, third, fourth copies. We are classic collectors and hence describe and grade what we sell to our best knowledge, possessing a very high, sophisticated level of knowledge, in particular regarding European records.
If -for whatever reason- our description doesn't turn out to be appropriate, like, for instance, a song skips or jumps, vinyl isn't flat as assured -these types of "error"-, we certainly accept a return (at buyer's expense), for a collector's satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. That certainly happened already. We know that nobody buys a record from us "just for fun". However, as a very basic rule, all of our sales are personal und final.
ALL WE TRY TO AVOID IS TO SEND RARE, VALUABLE VINYL AROUND THE GLOBE "IN VAIN", JUST TO SATISFY A PERSON'S CURIOSITY, FOR EVERY "ROUND-TRIP" IS A HUGE RISK EXPOSING THE RECORD.
