  Catchphrase: "before and after". Welcome to our auction of a Sgt. Pepper's MONO U.K. First Press, with an NEAR MINT minus audio quality, thats vinyl is shiny, having the KT Tax Stamp on Side A, added a dark green CUT-OUT, which is of course "Printed in England"...

With pressing and release dates mentioned on the upper right, we do away with a strange "myth", namely the (whyever) wide-spread opinion of "1st of June" as being "THE Sgt. Pepper Date". Even decades later, many collectors around the world still "celebrated" that "magical" (still misleading) day. One may guess this is because it was once supposed to become the official release date. However, after British state television BBC had broadcasted the Fab's "Making-Of tapes" on May 12, 1967, already, they decided to hit the market earlier...

1st Class Packaging

We are Collectors, hence every record is stored (and will be sent) in a sophisticated way. Many experienced collectors were thrilled by our unique, bullet-proof "packing technicque". Original cover, inner sleeve(s), prospective inserts, and/or whatever may come across, are stored separately. The vinyl sits in a neutral antistatic, padded inner sleeve, which is housed in a stable, neutral cardboard cover. Package is protected by one (or more) transparent plastic sleeves. Finally, all items are being wrapped with thick bubble foil and go to a professional record mailer, which is then being properly sealed with water-resistant tape.

For packaging, we use brand-new material & items only. Whatever eBay MIGHT display: INSURED, SIGNED-IN, TRACKED SHIPPING IS FREE. ANY DESTINATION ON THIS PLANET.

Audible checks are performed with a Pro-Ject Audio system connected to a DENON PMA 520-AE amplifier, with a Sennheiser 350 headset.     Remarks   As for the Cover and related issues, please refer to pictures provided right after. Spine is partially damaged (see photo).
The full laminated cover is completely glossy. Scuffed edges. Occasional ring wear, B-Side has writings. Hole on lower left in cut-out.
Labels are clean. No writings, or cuts. However, there's spindle hole marks, in particular on Side B.
Vinyl is shiny. Only a few hairlines. A straight excellent.

Regarding audio, plays perfectly thru, no jumps, or skips. Clear, straight sound. Few bg noise, so, to be careful, we grade it near mint minus.

Please keep in mind that an opinion is bound to be subjective. Refer to pictures, provided extensively.
