Description
This is John, Paul, George and Peter Best, The Beatles, playing "The Savage Young Beatles" on Savage BM69 from 1969. This mono orange label record looks VG++ with minor surface markings but plays in NM condition. The labels are actually a lighter orange than what shows in the scans. Tony Sheridan does the singing with the Beatles as his backing band. The yellow jacket would be VG++ if not for completely taped upper seam and spine. The bottom seam is fine. The upper seam and spine seem to be a problem on many of these reissues. This item comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve. If you can find one of these LP's with the orange jacket, you can expect to pay upwards of $2K. Even this yellow cover version books for upwards of $100.00 for a NM copy. Since this jacket has taped seams I am pricing it at half its book value. If you have a nice jacket but need to upgrade your record, this is the perfect chance.

Definitions:
Mint = 10 = Just like it came from the factory. May still be factory sealed. These will generally be priced close to collector value.
NM = 9 = Near Mint = Very minor surface markings that do not interfere with the audio playback. These will generally be priced at 80% to 90% of collector value.
VG++ = 7.5 = Very Good++ = The surface markings are more noticeable and may or may not affect the audio playback. Sometimes a record can look VG++ but still play in NM condition. These will generally be priced at 60% to 75% of collector value.
VG+ = 5 = Very Good+ = Now the surface markings are quite noticeable and they will generally be heard during audio playback. These will generally be priced at 40% to 50% of collector value.
Generally, I will not list records below VG+ unless it is a rare record of importance to collectors.
