This is the original 1969 UK issue. The Parlophone logo on the back of the sleeve is printed in green ink indicating this sleeve is from the very first print run. On subsequent printing runs and the majority of these sleeves the logo is black. The "green" logo sleeves were issued in smaller numbers of approximately 1 for every 3 with the black logo. See last photo.
This was the first U.k. Beatles' single to be released with a picture sleeve. The sleeve itself had a limited release and was manufactured with delicate paper so is hard to find in any condition and the green logo edition is very hard to find.
The disc was issued with both a "spoke" center and a solid center. This copy is a solid center with the "Sold in UK..." text at the center.
Condition: Vinyl = close to EX, slight crackle at beginning. Retains initial shine. No skips or pops. Play tested and plays excellent. Labels = Excellent - Clean - no writing, no stickers or residue. Sleeve = VG tape residue on side and back. Repaired split on one side, 3/4" split on bottom, small nick on one edge. Name written on one side. Creasing from handling. Some toning marks from age. Minor ring marks - see photographs.
