Description
Here's an exceptionally nice copy of The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour, US LP on the original Capitol rainbow label in MONO. This was the last Beatles LP issued in mono in the USA. It is also the most difficult US mono LP to find, especially in top condition. This East Coast example has a NM vinyl disc with NM labels. The cover is the earliest variety with "no you're not" (as quoted by Little Nicola) in block letters and all songs credited to Maclen Music inside the front cover. The condition of the cover is EX+. There are a few minor spots of wear. The corners are crisp and the slicks are still bright and shinny. All the seams are strong without any signs of dryness (cracking paper) or shelf wear. There is one slight bump in the lower front seam and one in the spine as shown in the photos. The printing on the spine has minor wear and is pictured below. The white slicks on the inside of the gatefold are still bright white with only the slightest hint of age yellowing. The booklet has been very neatly glued back into place. One spot of paper is missing from the back page. There are pictures of these areas below. It's hard to find any copy of this LP where the inside of the booklet hasn't torn away from the cover. The pages of the booklet are clean and crisp showing little to no signs of having been thumbed through. Overall the whole package shows very little signs of being handled over the past 38 years. It's offered at no reserve.

Shipping Is $2.50 via Media Mail in the USA. Priority Mail is $5.00 and w/double box is $6.50. Savings in shipping for multiple purchases will be passed on to the winning bidder. Insurance is an additional $1.30 for up to $50.00 in value, $2.20 up to $100.00 and an additional dollar for each additional $100.00 increment. International shipping is at cost. International insurance is at cost if available. There is no charge for packing materials or "handling". The risk for loss or damage is yours if you do not insure the item.
Payment must be made by Money Order, Cashier's Check or US cash dollars. Paypal is acceptable if the funds come directly from your bank account or Paypal account. Credit or debit card payments through Paypal will not be accepted. No other forms of payment will be accepted (including personal/business checks), no exceptions! Payment must be received within 10 calendar days (14 international) of when I notify you that you've won or I may re-list the item.
