Beatles Vee Jay E.P. PROMO Souvenir STARTER COPY

Sleeve:  Nice original Vee Jay company sleeve with thumb tab.  NO split seams!  Number 6 written small in ballpoint at the top right corner on the thumb tab side.  A generic paper sleeve will be provided for shipment, so as not to split your Vee Jay sleeve.

Vinyl:  Poor.  The grading would have merited a solid VG, but there is a crack that nearly traverses the first track on each side.  I have displaced the crack in the service of the photographs, so that you can see the extent.

Labels:  Both labels retain their gloss, but they do have light dirtwear.  The Side 2 label lists the song, “Ask Me Why” in bold, thick lettering.  For some reason, even though that title clearly stands out, someone has circled the title, “Ask Me Why” in purple Magic Marker.  Don’t Ask Me Why.

Plates:  Both dead wax areas bear all three stamps which are required for this disc to be considered genuine:  “Audio Matrix,”  “ARP” and “URJ,” although on the Side 2 dead wax, only the “P” was printed from the “ARP” stamp.

If you’re finding it impossible to locate a copy of this one for your collection, this one will serve as a good placeholder for cheap.

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
