WITH THE BEATLES – ORIGINAL 1963 UK BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE **MONO** VINYL LP - PMC 1206
Album Description/Condition:
1963 MONO LP, for THE BEATLES second UK album, on the BLACK and YELLOW Parlophone label.
Both record labels have the ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, ‘Made in Gt Britain’ & recording first published 1963 label text.
This album is the very 1st Pressing, with the **JOBETE** publishing credit for the song MONEY, also on the side 2 record label , the song You Really Got a Hold on Me is shown as YOU REALLY **GOTTA** Hold on Me, this is also repeated on the track listing on the reverse of the sleeve.
Both record label are in excellent plus condition. CLEAN labels - NO fading to the silver printed text, showing a little wear to the centre spindle holes, and some centre spider trails .
The side 1 matrix is: XEX 447-1N and side 2: XEX 448-1N.
Side 1 stampers: 2 AA and side 2: 2 GG
Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in Excellent plus condition, both sides of the vinyl still retain their deep gloss finish, showing only a few light NON sounding surface hairlines, NO deep scratches or scuffs visible.
Audio Quality:
The LP plays superbly well throughout all of the tracks, a very strong mono sound quality.
The LP comes in a polythene lined Inner bag which is in very good condition, NO seam splits or handwriting, just some age toning, and creasing. (please note that this inner bag is not the one that originally came with this album)
…And is protected in an ORIGINAL Laminated Garrod &Lofthouse Three Flip Back Sleeve, with large 'MONO’ printed to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve.
The sleeve is in excellent plus condition, a strong firm very clean sleeve, showing nothing more than mild record indentation to the front, and mild age toning and handling marks to the reverse panel
An extremely fine condition 1st issue UK 1963 Beatles album.
