The Beatles White Album
The original first pressing of this double LP pressed in 1968.
Also the rare MONO version.
Also an extremely early copy - as the words "an emi recording" are missing from the left hand side of the spindle hole of both records.

. "Sold in UK...." across all labels.
. Label numbers PMC 7067 and 7068. (ie mono)
. First matrix numbers on all four sides XEX 709-1, 710-1, 711-1, 712-1
. Mother/stampers are 2RG, 2GRL, 4GH, and 5TL.
. All tracks on all 4 sides have been listened to right through. Individual play gradings for each side are listed below.
Poster
. Lyrics poster with the photos on the front, and the words to all the songs on the back is in near-mint condition .
. No tears, no damage, no writing anywhere , and no noticeable wear on the seams.
Black Inner Sleeves
. Both sleeves are original, in matt black paper with the hole diecut on just 1 side
. Both are now a little worn, but are completely intact and with no seam splitting; each has two short strips of sellotape to repair tears on the centre hole.
Outer Cover
. Original laminated cover made by Garrod and Lofthouse.
. Opens at the top.
. The Beatles embossed on the front of the cover.
. Number stamped on the front 0169506
. Rear of cover is, correctly for the mono cover, completely blank
. VG+ condition
. This original cover is in very good condition, no tears, no damage, no writing. The only small scuffs are around the edge of the front cover as shown on the photo.
. Inside of cover in excellent condition with internal flaps undamaged and well stuck down.
Play
I have played the 2 records all the way through each track. Sides 1/2 have no deep scratches but have some light surface rubbing visually VG++, all tracks play through well with no sticks, no ticks or loud clicks. It misses a few words in track4 but this is barely noticeable. If you are not familiar with the words and are not listening carefully at that point you would not notice. Side 2 plays all tracks excellent, except my stylus hops at the start of track2 . Sides3/4 have a few short scratches visually VG/VG+ Play overall is graded VG+ Most tracks play EX with no noisy clicks or ticks, no hops or sticks but there is a light background that can be heard in the quiet gaps between the tracks, however the last track has some ticks and light crackles.
