Professionally cleaned with a Pro-Ject VC-S MkII Vacuum record cleaner and then listened to-ALL the way through on a Focus One deck, SME arm with new Audio Technica stylus.

This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

The vinyl has just light marks to her. After playing her ALL THE WAY through, I found a wonderful rich audio with barely any background noise-just the very occasional light and soft pop was all I found. Even inbetween tracks are lovely and quiet.
NO JUMPS OR SKIPS
A simple joy to listen to.
Simply wonderfully clear playback...In particular the side 4 was fantastically clear-which is great as this is a mainly instrumental side and shines out with all its glory!
FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN
TURN HER UP-I DID ;)


The labels:
EX+.
 All four of the labels are extremely bright and clean with the DARKER apple.
Just light spindle marks to each label-Only visible when angled towards the light and particularly looking for them...Lovely!
Almost zero hole wear.
"Mfd in the U.K." to each of the labels.

The Cover:

NUMBERED: 0286562.
 It is the first run TOP loading and LOVELY & CLEAN, SUPERB shine to it. Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold without tears, rips or writing!!
The spine remains strong, it carries a small amount of some rubbing and lifting to the central area but it appears to be a lot wider than the normal White Album spine! Quite unusual!
NO SPLITS OR TEARS
Correct MONO cover as it doesn't have the printing of  Stereo to the back top right.
There are only a handful of small fingers of spidering emanating from the spine and seams! Very nice indeed!
I can see a fine line of abrasion to the back panel-please see the photo's yourselves as it really isn't anything to worry about at all..I am being rather critical.
Slight knocks and rubbing from storage to the corners,but nothing major what-so-ever.

GORGEOUS ORIGINAL FIRST PRINTING!!!


Inners:

All ORIGINAL BLACK inners. They are both well looked after with both having some feathering to the opening, as well as both having one small lines of 1cm tearing to the window.
One also has a small split to two of the seams of around 4 and 5cm...Not bad at all.
They have the die-cut corners and the'windows' on one side to each.
THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL
Certainly done their job by looking after these records for all this time!


Pictures:
Poor.
There are 3 pics present, but each have water damage to the bottom section...They could be trimmed and displayed well.
Please see the images yourselves-I am not hiding anything.


Poster:

It is the ORIGINAL, full size 1st press poster with lyrics to the back and lips to the front.
It remains all attached and complete, but there are small splits to the central folds and a longer one to the bottom left fold of around 13cm…but this will not be noticed if framing…
There is some foxing to the paper too.
ALL ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE.
The colours remain vibrant
