Description
Original UK Apple label mono 1968 press double LP, complete first pressing with all the inserts, No.0350070 on the front cover and the 'Sold in the UK..' label texts & 'KT' Tax code stamp on the dark green Apple labels! The fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse top opening gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light laminate & corner/edge wear, with a small stain on the lower spine of the cover. The spine is intact and still readable, but slightly crushed where the laminate has cracked. The plain black inners are intact & in VG+ condition, with some creasing and small tears and the matt foldout poster is in EX condition & the four photos are in EX condition. The records are in visually EX condition, sides 1 & 2 have a few faint hairlines and sides 3 & 4 have a few faint sleeve removal hairlines & a couple of light needle marks visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few spindle markings on sides 1 & 2 and a couple of spindle markings on sides 3 & 4. The sound reproduction is EX, clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some low background noise during the run in grooves & in a couple of the quieter passages, but overall it is still a really great, loud & punchy listen! The matrix nos. are; YEX-709-1 mother stamper 6-AM, YEX-710-1 mother stamper 7-PL, YEX-711-1 mother stamper 1-GRD, YEX-712-3 mother stamper 2-PH. This is one of the early pressings of the original 1968 UK mono 1st issue of this album!!All records are secondhand and are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any serious flaws noted in the listing, but if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 4 or 5 lp's due to weight restrictions.
