This EXCELLENT 100% complete UK 1st MONO pressing dates from initial November 1968 release on the Apple Records label: PMC 7067/8
All labels include the 'Sold in UK...' and 'An EMI Recording' texts.
A 'KJT' purchase tax code is visible on the side 4 label.
Matrices: XEX 709-1/710-1 & XEX 711-1/712-1
Stamper codes: 4/GMG, 7/RT & 1/MT, 2/OG
Vinyl weights: 136g & 143g
Housed in a fully laminated, top-opening 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover numbered: No.0281170
Complete with: UK printed poster, 4 colour portrait photos, photo spacer sheet & original black inner-sleeves.
CONDITION
Disc 1: VERY GOOD +Both playing surfaces are clean and unworn with the only noticeable mark being a 1cm hairline on side 1, together with a few harmless wispy hairlines directly beneath halogen light. There is minimal vinyl background between tracks & quieter passages and apart from a single groove jump on 'Glass Onion' & slight peakwear on 'Blackbird', there is little of any significance to fault audibly.
Disc 2: EXCELLENT
A well looked-after disc which retains clean, glossy playing surfaces with a just a few light inner-sleeve removal marks beneath halogen light. This little played disc plays cleanly and clearly with no jumps, repeats or anything else to spoil the enjoyment of this classic mono mix.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A 1st-class clean, white and fully intact example with little more to show for its 51 years than a hint of storagewear The front panel is clean & unblemished with a glossy laminate bearing just a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle towards the top-opening edge. The unique number is clean and bold and the laminate is fully intact over the raised wording. There is slight bruising to the tips of the lower corners but the opening edges are all clean & undamaged. Both panels inside the gatefold and the rear panel are clean & unworn. The spine is in nice shape with both the upper and lower wording covered and readable and just a small 3cm split in the laminate midway down. All seams are smooth & unstressed.
Never hung and with light handling wear only.

Both are clean & flat with just a tiny 5mm tear to one of the central windows but none to the upper edges or seams.
