CONDITION
Disc 1
Labels: EXCELLENT
Numerous spindle trails to each but no marks, writing or missing paper.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Both sides are clean and bright but bear some light surfaces marks and the occaisional light scratch in strong daylight but certainly nothing deep or 'feelable'. Some wispy inner-sleeve hairlines are visible direct under halogen light but there are no other significant or any major marks on either side.
Audio: VERY GOOD
As usual with this set, disc 1 has received the most attention. Apart from slight groovewear on 'Back In The USSR' & on a few peaks during 'Blackbird', there are no other significant signs of audible wear. There is a touch of light background between tracks but no heavy clicks or any jumps, repeats or any other major faults throughout. Despite this minor wear, it is still a very enjoyable listen.
Disc 2
Labels: EXCELLENT
Again, some spindle trails but no other wear.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both surfaces retain their 'as new' deep-gloss shines with no no groove-whitening or dulling to any surface. Apart from a few lines from inner-sleeve removal, both display no significant signs of wear in strong daylight. Close & careful inspection directly under my halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a few wispy paper hairlines but absolutely no other signs of wear.
Audio: EXCELLENT
This disc has received just a few careful plays and is without any significant or major deterioration to the sound quality throughout. Delicate songs such as 'Mother Nature's Son' play perfectly with no faults or wear. There are no clicks, jumps, repeats or any major faults anywhere on this fine disc.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
A strong, heavy card example which still retains and good 'whiteness' with just some toning towards the spine area. The front panel laminate is clean & glossy with no indentation lines or any creasing. The laminate covering the raised wording is totally intact & completely unsplit and the number is clean & undamaged. There is a small stain to the lower left corner and some minor shelfwear to the other, but both top-opening edges are intact with no tears or feathering. Both the inside of the gatefold and the rear panel are also clean & undamaged. The spine is discoloured and there is some missing laminate but the wording is all still legible. All the seams are strong, unstressed & unsplit.
Photos: EXCELLENT +
Spacer: EXCELLENT
A few faint handling wrinkles but no tears or missing sections.
Poster: VERY GOOD +
Some light handling wear & foxing spots but unhung & no tears or splits to the folds.
Inner-sleeves: VERY GOOD + & GOOD
One is undamaged whilst the other has side seam splits & a small tear to the centre-hole.
