Description
The Beatles - White Album
(Apple PCS7067-8 UK DLP 1968)
This is the original numbered UK Stereo pressing with dark green Apple labels with the 'Sold in the UK subject to..." label text.
The number printed on the front of the sleeve is: 0554989.
It comes complete with its original top opening, fully laminated, internal flipback, gatefold sleeve and original black paper inners. The inners are in VG- condition. It also comes complete with four glossy photos which are in overall nice condition aside from a few small creases, and a foldout poster which is slightly crinkled and as a couple of small tears along the fold lines.
The records have YEX 709-1/ YEX 710-1 and YEX 711-1/ YEX 712-1 matrix stampers.
Sleeve: There is some ring wear and creasing, along with some edge wear - particularly to the top opening. There is also some damage to the top of the spine (see photo) VG- condition
Vinyl 1: Some light sleeve rubs and some careless needle scuffs that can only be seen under a strong light. VG- condition. Plays VG+. The labels are nice and clean & show moderate spindle wear.
Vinyl 2: Some light sleeve rubs that can only be seen under a strong light and one small pressing mark. It plays through the mark but there are some clicks. VG- condition. Plays VG+. The labels are nice and clean & show only moderate spindle wear.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers). Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £40. Overseas buyers will add £4.50 extra. Please e-mail if you require any further information.
