THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'
1963 UK 2nd MONO ISSUE LP
***DECCA PRESSING***
This 'contract' pressing was manufactured in very limited quantities by Decca Records (in mono only) at the request of EMI in early 1964.
These pressing are chiefly identifiable by the distinctive 'groove' around the label.
Although pressed on slightly thinner vinyl than their EMI counterparts, they retain top Decca sound quality.
This superb 1963 DECCA mono '2nd pressing' is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1206
Both labels bear the distinctive Decca label groove running around it 1.5cms from the edge.
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co Ltd...' rims.
The publishing credit for 'Money' is 'Dominion. Belinda'
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed, incorrect ..'Gotta..' mono cover.
Complete with original 'Use Emitex' lined inner-sleeve.

Extremely high-gloss surfaces, completely undulled by overplay or improper storage.
Both surfaces are pristine in daylight & reveal just a few faint hairlines & wispy sleeve removal marks only directly under a halogen desk lamp.
There are absolutely no heavy scuffs, marks or any deep/feelable scratches anywhere.
High quality Decca vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides without any signs of dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
Carefully played on good equipment only, all tracks play 'as new' with absolutely no crackle or groovewear on any tracks in either channel.
Apart from 4 light ticks between tracks 5 & 6 on side 2, all bands play silently with no other traces of audible wear anywhere.
A great sounding copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Very clean & strong with a glossy front laminate bearing just a single spine wrinkle & tiny 'thumbnail' but no other creasing or wear.
All corners are all square & un-bumped and the opening edges are sharp & clean on both sides with no tears or 'feathering'.
The rear panel is clean & bright with just some minor discolouration towards the corners, but no other marks, writing or missing paper.
The spine is strong & clean with undamaged lettering & retains its factory 'pinched' ends.
All flipbacks & both seams are fully intact with no tears, stress or splits.
Strict visual grading in daylight and directly under a halogen desk lamp.
All discs are carefully play graded in their entirety on a Rega P9 deck with an Ortofon Kontrapunkt 'A' cartridge.
